Sit back, relax with your complimentary drink, nibble at some delicious local cheese and enjoy the beauty of these magnificent waterways.
The Director cruises Reeve Channel via Nungurner to Flagstaff Jetty, where you can disembark and take a 10 minute stroll to the Ninety Mile Beach to view the entrance to the Gippsland Lakes system.
Learn about the history of the entrance construction and the village that was once there. Gaze out to sea from the Flagstaff and down the coast of the Ninety Mile Beach, arguably the longest stretch of sandy beach in the world! If you are lucky the April Hamer may be dredging the entrance channel, or you may get to see a fishing boat braving the waves of the entrance.
Cruise home via Barrier Landing and Fraser Island - time for spotting kangaroos lazing on the airstrip!
The Director's Happy Hour Scenic Cruise departs The Moorings at Metung Jetty every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday at 3 pm and returns at 5.30 pm. (Departure 2.30pm in winter months)
